Abstract
"Los dispositivos intrauterinos se utilizan para evitar la concepción. Cuando se los coloca directamente dentro del útero y se los deja allí durante cierto tiempo, provocan un leve proceso inflamatorio en el útero que evita, en la mayoría de los casos, la implantación de cualquier óvulo fertilizado en la pared del útero, impidiendo el embarazo" ["Intrauterine devices are used to prevent conception. when they are placed directly into the uterus and are left there for some time, cause a slight inflammatory process in the uterus that avoids, most cases, implantation of the fertilized ovum in any wall uterus, thus preventing pregnancy"]
