Abstract
"Teóloga mexicana (Monterrey 1951), es actualmente profesora de Biblia en la Universidad Latinoamericana (Costa Rica). Es una de las mujeres pioneras de la Teología Feminista. Elsa interpreta la Biblia desde una perspectiva popular y contextual, dentro de la corriente de la Teología de la Liberación y profundamente impregnada por su sensibilidad de mujer y su apertura ecuménica: “no existe una Biblia católica ni una protestante, hay una sola Biblia”" ["Mexican theologian (Monterrey 1951), is currently a professor of Bible at the Latin American University (Costa Rica). It is one of the pioneer women of the Feminist Theology.
