Abstract
The article investigates the role of a prominent Islamic scholars in Indonesia, Muhammad Natsir in influencing the methology of Dakwah as one of the holy tasks for guiding Muslims ummah. The activity of dakwah has two different aims;improving the quality of Muslim and preach Islamto otther believer. Natsir then offered a methodology of dakwah using several fields and practical methods, depending on the situation ; through educational field, political and non political field, government field and also scientic works.
