"Poco a poco vamos saliendo de la situación anómala y peligrosa que era entre nosotros el divorcio entre teologia y pastoral. Cuando lá vida de la Iglesia se configuraba rígidamente por un derecho uniforme y por un poder casi incuestionable de la costumbre, la teologia tenia poco que hacer en la vida práctica y cotidiana de la Iglesia" ["Little by little we are coming out of abnormal and dangerous situation it was between us the divorce between theology and pastoral. When the life of the Church is rigidly configured by a uniform law and by an almost unquestioned power of habit, theology had little to do in practice and daily life of the Church"]
