Abstract
节约型社会是建设和实现和谐社会的必然要求，是我国落实科学发展观，全面建设小康社会，促进经济社会和环境协调发展的战略选择。然而目前人们对节约型社会所蕴含的价值和现实意义的研究，主要是从消费伦理向度来探讨它的价值，仅仅局限于消费领域，把它等同于合理消费、科学消费，却忽视了其政治伦理价值和对现代性社会制度批判的功能。我们应将节约型社会作为一种社会制度来建构，建成一种与生态环境相适应、经济社会与环境协调发展、人与自然协同进化的社会制度，以最终实现人的解放和自然的解放。 Conservation-minded society is the inner requirement of the harmonious society. Current studies on the conservation-minded society focus on the consumption realm. This article expand the topic to political ethics.
