"Bajo el impulso del Concilio Vaticano II, la Iglesia en su conjunto ha tomado conciencia de la considerable importancia que revisten las búsquedas e iniciativas que tiene que emprender para cumplir entre los hombres de su tiempo la misión que le viene de Jesús de Nazareth. Hoy, en un mundo irresistiblemente guiado por la ciencia y la técnica, se plantean tal cantidad de necesidades y problemas nuevos que nuestro universo mental -no sólo el de las personas cultivadas, sino el de la gente en general- está siendo profundamente transformado" ["Under the impetus of the Second Vatican Council, the Church as a whole has taken awareness of the significant importance searches and initiatives to be undertaken to meet with men of his time mission that comes from Jesus of Nazareth.
