Abstract
"Ahora que Chiapas nos reventó en la conciencia nacional, muchos y muy variados autores desempolvan su pequeño Larousse ilustrado, su México desconocido, sus disquetes de datos estadísticos del Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Geografía e Informática o el Fonato o hasta los textos clásicos que vienen desde Bartolomé de las Casas. Con el afán de aportar a esta sed de conocimientos sobre la situación chiapaneca, les mandamos un escrito que nuestro compañero Subcomandante Insurgente Marcos realizó a mediados de 1992, para buscar que fuera despertando la conciencia de varios compañeros que por entonces se iban acercando a nuestra lucha. Esperamos que este material se gane un lugar en alguna de las secciones o suplementos que conforman su prestigioso diario. Los derechos de autor pertenecen a los insurgentes, los cuales se sentirán retribuidos al ver algo de su historia circular a nivel nacional.
