It is concluded that its implementation of capital punishment both in Islamic and Indonesian criminal law is carefully applied and with the limits prescribed by law. Such restrictions are expected to balance the views between the pro and against capital punishment in Indonesia. The death penalty in Islamic criminal law is to protect religion, life, property, intellect and descendant.
