Primeiro, Paul Ricoeur com sua hermenêutica da simbólica. E, num segundo momento, o psicanalista Winnicott com sua teoria dos objetos transicionais. A hermenêutica de Paul Ricoeur nos possibilita pensar linguagem mitológica como um instrumento de significação e sentido do agir humano e como direcionamento da vida em sociedade. Em Winnicott, é possível fundamentar a religiosidade como meio de autonomia do indivíduo social – e não como uma ilusão da personalidade como defendia Freud" ["The author intends to suggest an epistemological dialog defending the following premise: religiosities and scientific knowledge are distinct and legitimate ways of comprehending the society and the cosmos. To establish this dialog between the scientific method and the religious experience, one first needs to present the argumentation of religiosity as being a way of knowing the world. For this two theoreticians will be used. First, Paul Ricoeur with his hermeneutics of the symbolic. And in a second moment the psychoanalyst Winnicott with his theory of transitional objects. The hermeneutics of Paul Ricoeur makes it possible for us to think of mythological language as an instrument which gives significance and meaning to human action and gives direction for life in society.
