It aims at contributing to better understand the legal significance of this document, trying to locate it in the larger context in which it is inserted. Death registry preserves an instrumental nature and, for its recording, it is necessary to submit a death certificate, previously dealt by administrative regulations, now the object of Law 11.976/09. It also aims at valuating this document in the interest of several areas and sectors of the Ministry of Health that use it, pointing out their correlation to the provisions of the new Code of Medical Ethics and other resolutions by the Federal Council of Medicine."engWith permission of the license/copyright holderDeathDeath certificateCivil registryMedical EthicslegalPolitical ethicsEthics of lawRights based legal ethicsBioethicsMedical ethicsEthical and legal aspects of the death certificateArticle
