The researcher shows that the popular culture is a culture that was created by the capitalist economic system. Even though economically they do not have independent financial resources, youth are the most consumptive ones in community, especially in terms of lifestyle. Therefore, youth become the attention of the capitalists to market their products. Character education and religious education are the solutions offered by the researcher in order to make the youth do not fall into the popular culture.
