Religion is often tied directly to the worst examples of human behavior. In human history, the war kills more people often done in the name of religion than in the name of other institutional forces. Ironically, in the midst of the rapid progress of human civilization today, it is still often the case. Why is evil in the name of religion still happening? According to Charles Kimbal, there are at least five causes. First, when a doctrine of religious truth claims as absolute truth. Second is blind obedience to their religious leaders. Third, religion began to yearn infatuated ideal time and determined to realize the era into today. Fourth, when religion is to justify and allow the “goal justifies the means”. Fifth, religion began to become corrupt. Sigmund Freud’s critique of religion counters to the behavior of repressive. Freud recommends replacing religion with the results achieved by the use of reason and intellect, as it started analyzed by psychology.indWith permission of the license/copyright holderHuman BehaviorPsychoanalysisReligionFaithAtheismReligious ethicsSpirituality and ethicsMethods of ethicsTheological ethicsPhilosophical ethicsCommunity ethicsEducation and ethicsComparative religion and interreligious dialoguePhilosophy of religionAteisme Sebagai Kritik AgamaJournal volume
