Based on the data and the analysis which are done to surah al-Alaq verse 1-5, the writer gives a notion that Al-Quran teaches the Islamic followers to increase their knowledge. The contain of surah al-Alaq verse 1-5 has given the provision for human life to be the Khalifah fil ardh (the leader of the earth).
