The paper argues that only an extended conception of justice, one that would encompass references to nature, culture and the future, will be able to build a bridge between these different intuitions. However, caution must be exercised in the application of this extended conception of justice so that the worst-off are in each case the first targeted by it.Magazine/Journaleng© 2010 Taylor & FrancisGreen politicsPolitical ecologyClimate changeJusticeHonnethThe Political Identity of the Green Movement in Germany: Social-Philosophical ReflectionsArticle
