Isso tem alterado sua “vidinha” cotidiana. Aproveitando o contexto vivenciado na mais alta Corte Judiciária brasileira, escolhe-se dois temas centrais para a vida dos humanos “Quintanares”. Escreve-se este artigo em sequência ao artigo publicado na edição n.1/2009, “Escravismo biológico ou jurídico? O caso da pesquisa com células- -tronco embrionárias”, permanecendo-se fiel à intuição de que a vida humana merece pontuações quintanares, principalmente quando o que está em julgamento não é apenas uma Corte de Homens, mas crendices sobre liberdade e sofrimento. Percorreu-se o tema da cultura constitucional, fazendo- se considerações sobre duas situações em que “vidinhas” são pauta no Supremo Tribunal Federal" ["Brazilian Supreme Court (STF – Supremo Tribunal Federal) has been judging bioethical questions. This has modified its “petty life”. Profiting from the context lived deeply in the highest Brazilian Judiciary Court we choose two subjects central for the life of “Quintanar” (a reference to an expression by the gaucho poet, Mário Quintana) human beings. This article is a sequence to the article published in Revista Bioethikos n.1/2009, “Biological or legal slavery? The case of research with embryonic stem-cells” and it is also faithful to the intuition that human life deserves Quintanar considerations mainly when what is being judged is not only one a Court of Men, but beliefs about freedom and suffering.
