Este artículo se estructura a partir de una propuesta de participación de las organizaciones de la sociedad civil en el sistema de regulación ética en seres humanos en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Desde la comprensión de la ética en investigación como un tema público se busca instalar y ampliar el alcance de la misma, para crear y habilitar espacios democráticos de participación, donde se convoquen y articulen a los actores sociales en deliberaciones, se socialice la información y se promueva una construcción colectiva pública e informada que posibilite la definición de investigaciones prioritarias para la región de América Latina" ["The emphasis maintained in Europe and Latin America on the lack of participation by society in ethical regulation systems, and citizens` minimal knowledge of the problems involved in research ethics, is in itself an affirmation that makes it necessary to establish a set of requirements in time and space.
