Melé, Domènec2019-09-252019-09-252012-12-212012http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12424/188620Drawing from Catholic social tradition, and particularly, from some writings of Pope Benedict XVI, we discuss the essentials of his approach, which can be interpreted as person-centered ethics. This is neither relativist nor rationalistic, but based on metaphysic realism. It is a “first person ethics”, in which personal conscience and virtues play an important role; it leads to the awareness of justice in every phase of economic activity and orients this to the common good.
