The author found that the excellence of al-Zamakhsyari’s approach is in the aspect of language understanding and the its rhetoric which shows the specialty of al-Qur’an texts which are unequal with the common language. On the contrary, Sayyid Quthb emphasizes exclusively on the elaboration of the important characteristic of al-Quran ignored by scientist and specialist of Islamic law. So, his main goal is not to prove the validity of I’jaz.
