Review of departing from the phenomenon of veiled women in the social context of post-conflict horizontal hit the area around the year 1999 ago. The perspective of the consumer culture of Featherstone (1990) is used to indicate the on going process of the phenomenon. The results showed that the use of the veilby women in North Maluku in the setting of experience estetitation from its original purpose, namely as a moslem identity. In the process, it brought the multi-identity of a life style trends, to the notion that being 'hangingout' and 'fashionable' hijab. These opportunities are made possible by globalization, which provides a variety of options with regard to clothing.
