The first part of this paper proposes a precise definition and nature of what a worldview is, and why there is a necessity to have one, with a brief analysis of contemporary paradigms of worldviews. The second part presents an understanding of the basic principles of an integrated Islamic World-view in the light of Qur’ân and Hadȋth.
