Este artículo trata de indagar el peso de los discursos transmitidos personalmente entre mujeres, parientes y amigas a lo largo de la vida de las protagonistas, y se basa en una investigación cualitativa con entrevistas a mujeres, madres o no, de entre 20 y 90 años en la provincia de Barcelona" ["Over the last century, fear of birth has become a standardized social fear for men and women, regardless of whether or not they are mothers.
