The study is begun by explaining the trustee and the trust, the meaning of ijbar rights, scholars’ opinion about ijbar rights, and the relevance of ijbar rights to gender issues. The approach used in this research is descriptive-qualitative approach, because this study is intended to reveal and describe the ijbar rights in fiqh seen from a gender perspective. By using research methods outlined above, it can be concluded that the ijbar rights are not applied to the girls who are mature and law competent. It means the rights to nominate a life companion belongs to the child. The role of a guardian is as a giver consideration and input only.
