丧葬习俗是哈尼族基于灵魂不灭的观念而产生的一种社会习俗，包含着一套 完整的丧葬仪式和作为祭祀活动重要组成部分的丧葬舞蹈，蕴含着哈尼族丰富的精神内涵和悠 久的历史传统，在历史和现实的时空中展示着民族之魂。哈尼族的丧葬习俗和丧葬舞蹈从哈尼 族的道德生活史、社会伦理关系、对生死的态度以及人与自然的关系等方面演绎着哈尼族深厚 而丰富的伦理意蕴。
