99% aller Schweizer Unternehmen sind KMUs. Viele dieser Unternehmen sind in zahlreichen Ländern tätig und werden regelmässig mit der Problematik der Korruption konfrontiert. Die Geschäftsgrundsätze sollen einen Weg aufzeigen, wie KMU ein ihrer Grösse entsprechendes und auf ihre Ressourcen zugeschnittenes Anti-Korruptionsprogramm entwickeln können. Dies fördert den guten Ruf gegenüber Kunden und mindert Risiken. (99% of Swiss companies are SMEs. Many of these companies are active in many countries and are regularly faced with the problem of corruption. The principles of corporate conduct must indicate a way in which SMEs can develop an anti-corruption program corresponding to their size and their resources. This contributes to the good reputation vis-à-vis clients and reduces risk.)
