Abstract
"In Comer v. Murphy Oil USA, the Fifth Circuit ruled that certain private citizens had standing to assert common law public and private nuisance, trespass, and negligence claims for injuries incurred as a result of climate change. In contrast to a series of federal district court opinions, the court further ruled that these claims did not present a nonjusticiable political question" (p. 1)
