Abstract
"O objetivo é mostrar, a partir da filosofia da alteridade de Emmanuel Lévinas, que a categoria de cuidado refere-se à humanização do ser humano em função da relação com o outro. Este trabalho procurará evidenciar como o cuidado na saúde acontece em dois níveis: da proximidade e assimetria do face a face e da simetria e igualdade do caráter público. Dessa forma, o cuidado recupera a sua originalidade como compaixão solidária, a partir da ética do rosto" ["Aiming at showing from the philosophy of alterity of Emmanuel Lévinas that the category of care refers to humanization of human beings from the relationship with others, this work will try to show how care in health happens in two levels: the one of proximity and asymmetry of face-to-face encounters and that of symmetry and equality of public contact.
