Abstract
" Todas las bandas, compuestas tradicionalmente por bronces, sintonizaron en forma de una sola y gigantesca orquesta al aire libre. Días antes, el presidente Evo Morales había destacado el hecho de que por primera vez se iniciaba una manifestación política al compás de esas típicas bandas de música, en un ambiente definitivamente festivo. El objetivo de la marcha era llegar hasta la sede de gobierno y persuadir a los diputados para que cerraran la fase de revisión de artículos de la Nueva Constitución Política del Estado (NCPE) y dieran luz verde a la ley de convocatoria a referendo, para someter su aprobación al juicio de todo el pueblo. Atrás quedaban meses de gran tensión y frustrantes mesas de diálogo con las fuerzas conservadoras.
