Abstract
The paper discusses the existence of Malay people especially living in Kalimantan and often be called as Banjar people. Historically Malay-Banjar people is believed had migrated to the neighbor island, Kalimantan since hundred years ago from Sumatra and the maindland of Southeast Asia today. As their relatives in Sumatra, Malay-Banjar people in Kalimantan also accept Islam to be their believe,which is also can connect them to their relatives in other places.
