Abstract
"José Manuel Romero Cuevas (Sanlúcar de Barrameda, 1970) es profesor en la Universidad de Alcalá (Madrid). Se doctoró en la Universidad de Granada (UGR) con una tesis sobre el problema del conocimiento en F. Nietzsche, publicada en 2001 con el título El caos y las formas. Experiencia, conocimiento y verdad en F. Nietzsche (Granada: Comares). Entre 2001 y 2005 realizó una estancia de investigación postdoctoral en las universidades de Mainz y Frankfurt. Ahí elaboró el libro Hacia una hermenéutica dialéctica. W. Benjamin, Th. W. Adorno y F. Jameson (Madrid: Síntesis, 2005). Entre los años 2005 y 2008 fue profesor en la Universidad de El Salvador (UES), en la Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas (UCA) de El Salvador y en la Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo de Morelia (México). Siendo investigador del Programa Ramón y Cajal, realizó estancias de investigación en Frankfurt que le permitieron editar y traducir los escritos juveniles de H. Marcuse del período 1928-1933: J. M. Romero (ed.), H. Marcuse y los orígenes de la teoría crítica (Madrid: Plaza y Valdés, 2010), H. Marcuse, Entre hermenéutica y teoría crítica. Artículos 1929-1931 (Barcelona: Herder, 2011) y H. Marcuse, Sobre Marx y Heidegger. Escritos filosóficos (1932-1933) (Madrid: Biblioteca Nueva, 2016). Con motivo de la reciente aparición de su libro El lugar de la crítica. Teoría crítica, hermenéutica y el problema de la trascendencia intrahistórica (Madrid: Biblioteca Nueva, 2016), desde Oxímora. Revista Internacional de Ética y Política hemos considerado oportuno entrevistarle con objeto de abordar conjuntamente el significado y las fuentes filosófico-sociales de la noción de “crítica inmanente”. Además de la obra mencionada, ha publicado sobre el tema el libro Crítica e historicidad. Ensayos para repensar las bases de una teoría crítica. (Barcelona: Herder, 2010) y ha editado el volumen colectivo Immanente Kritik Heute. Grundlagen und Aktualität eines sozialphilosophischen Begriffs (Bielefeld: transcript, 2014), con textos, entre otros, de Titus Stahl, Benno Herzog, Jordi Maiso y José Antonio Zamora" ["José Manuel Romero Cuevas (Sanlúcar de Barrameda, 1970) is a professor at the University of Alcalá (Madrid). Between 2005 and 2008 he was a professor at the University of El Salvador (UES), at the Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas (UCA) in El Salvador and at the Michoacan University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo de Morelia (Mexico). Being researcher of the Program Ramón y Cajal, realized stays of investigation in Frankfurt that allowed him to publish and to translate the youthful writings of H. Marcuse of the period 1928-1933: JM Romero (ed.), H. Marcuse and the origins of the critical theory (Madrid: Plaza and Valdés, 2010), H. Marcuse, Between hermeneutics and critical theory. Articles 1929-1931 (Barcelona: Herder, 2011) and H. Marcuse, On Marx and Heidegger. Philosophical Writings (1932-1933) (Madrid: Biblioteca Nueva, 2016). On the occasion of the recent appearance of his book The place of criticism. Critical theory, hermeneutics and the problem of intrahistorical transcendence (Madrid: Biblioteca Nueva, 2016), from Oxímora. International Journal of Ethics and Politics we have considered it opportune to interview him in order to jointly address the meaning and the philosophical-social sources of the notion of "immanent criticism". In addition to the aforementioned work, he has published on the subject the book Crítica e historicidad. Essays to rethink the foundations of a critical theory. (Barcelona: Herder, 2010) and has edited the collective volume Immanent Kritik Heute.
