Abstract
"O artigo discute a relação entre Ciência da Religião, ensino religioso (ER) e a adequada formação docente de quem se encarregará de ministrar essa disciplina no ensino fundamental das escolas públicas. Para o autor, o ER nada mais do que a transposição didática dos resultados alcançados pela Ciência da Religião. Ele avança pelo terreno epistemológico e descarta os modelos catequético e teológico para o ER, sugerindo o modelo da Ciência da Religião como o único habilitado a sustentar a autonomia epistemológica e pedagógica do ER". ["The article discusses the relationship between science of religion, religious education (RE) and adequate teacher training who will be in charge of administering this discipline in elementary education in public schools. For the author, the ER nothing more than a didactic transposition of the results achieved by the Science of Religion. It advances the epistemological ground and drops the catechetical and theological models for the ER, suggesting the model of the Science of Religion as the only body empowered to sustain the epistemological and pedagogical autonomy ER".]
