Abstract
"O texto está dividido em duas partes. A primeira apresenta um resumo do sistema antropológico-fenomenológico girardiano sobre violência e sagrado. A Segunda apresenta suas reflexões sobre a especificidade da tradição judaico cristã na articulação da violência. Embora não sendo exatamente uma resenha, a base do texto é o livro A violência e a religião. São Paulo: Paz e Terra, 1990. No entanto, o texto faz referência indireta a outras obras de Girardi, usando como fonte um primoroso trabalho de Alfredo Teixeira: Violência e cultura: explorações do teorema girardiano. In: FARIAS, José Jacinto Ferreira et. al. Religião e violência: extremismos religiosos, violência e cultura, guerra santa, opinião de teólogos. Lisboa: Paulus, 2002. p. 37-91" ["The text is divided into two parts. The first presents a summary of the anthropological and phenomenological system girardiano on violence and the sacred. The second presents his reflections on the specificity of the Judeo Christian tradition in the articulation of violence. While not exactly being a review, the text is based on the book Violence and religion. Sao Paulo: Paz e Terra, 1990.
