Abstract
"En una sociedad organizada solamente sobre criterios de efi ciencia y productividad, es necesario redescubrir el papel de la mujer-madre como ser humano con unas características esenciales que la capacitan para comprender mejor a la persona, cómo es, qué necesidades tiene, a qué aspira. Las mujeres manifi estan una forma de maternidad afectiva, cultural y espiritual de un valor inestimable por la infl uencia que tiene en el desarrollo de la persona. Es preciso que la mujer esté cada vez más comprometida en el ámbito de la política y de la sociedad civil, trabajando complementariamente con el hombre". ["In a society based on effi ciency and productivity, rediscovering the role of the woman-mother as a human being with special traits that allow her to understand people as they really are, and what needs and aspirations they have is essential. Women manifest an affective, cultural and spiritual kind of maternity of incalculable value due to its infl uence on the development of each individual. At the same time, women must be allowed to play a full part in political and social ambits, working as equals along side men".]
