我们富国的公民总喜欢在捐献转让，援助和再分配的名义下讨论我们对远方穷人的义务：即 使有这样的义务，我们应该把多少财富分给国外的饥民？通过揭示一位杰出理论家该问题的 思考方式，我将说明这种思考方式有严重错误 而且对全球穷人代价很大。
