Abstract
The complicated and often controversial role of ex-combatants in peacebuilding processes deserves to be analysed and attended to in order to avoid some of the risks of relapse into violent conflict. The Berghof Foundation has undertaken a study that lifts up needs and opportunities in these contexts.
