Abstract
"O tratamento do tema Ensino Religioso (ER) no Brasil tem longa data. Não é de agora que a discussão sobre ER tem sido desenvolvida no âmbito jurídico e pedagógico. O primeiro preocupase predominantemente com a legitimidade desse componente curricular, enquanto o segundo volta-se para a reflexão quanto à formação dos docentes envolvidos no ensino dessa disciplina, na definição de seus conteúdos e nas diretrizes pedagógicas para orientação da prática docente" ["The treatment of the subject Religious Education (RE) in Brazil has long.
