Abstract
"n los últimos largos años hemos sido testigos de imponentes avances en el campo de la ciencia y la técnica. Éstos han desembarcado también en el ámbito de la medicina y las ciencias de la salud. El uso de las tecnologías médicas permite, hoy día, prolongar la vida artificialmente hasta límites impensados que nunca antes hubiéramos podido imaginar. La aplicación de las nuevas tecnologías en el campo de la salud no debería ser, pues, ilimitada" ["In the past many years have witnessed impressive advances in the field of science and technology.
