Abstract
"Marcos 11, 12-25, es uno de los pasajes más enigmáticos del segundo evangelio, parecido a una historia apócrifa introducida por casualidad en el Evangelio de Marcos. El único “pecado” de la higuera es encontrarse con Jesús en un mal momento. El episodio intriga tanto por el contenido como por la forma, ya que la historia de la higuera engloba en “sandwich” el de la purificación del templo (vv.12- 14 / 15-19 / 20-25). Este artículo se propone explorar un aspecto particular del segundo Evangelio: el simbolismo" ["Mark 11: 12-25, is one of the most enigmatic passages of the second gospel, like an apocryphal story introduced by chance in the Gospel of Mark.
