Abstract
The paper explores the existence of Salafi movement which is often said bringing its intolerance not only to other religion, but also to other Muslim which are different from them. The paper tries to prove whether this kind of common stereotype is correct or not by taking an example of Salafi group in Pekanbaru, which is Umar Bin Khatab religion boarding school.
