Abstract
"Aristóteles pensaba que el hombre tiende a la felicidad y que, por consiguiente, sólo puede elegir los medios que llevan a ella. En el caso concreto de la medicina, el filósofo griego afirma que la libertad de elección del médico no se refiere al fin, a saber, la salud, la cual está fijada necesariamente como su fin. La elección solamente puede referirse a los medios conducentes a este fin. "Un médico no se pregunta a sí mismo si debe sanar a una persona enferma ... En asuntos semejantes nunca se piensa en el fin que alcanzar'"" ["Aristotle thought that men tend to happiness and therefore can only choose the means that lead to it. In the case of medicine, the Greek philosopher says freedom of choice of doctor does not refer to the order, namely health, which is fixed necessarily an end.
