Abstract
"O presente trabalho visa comparar as epistemologias da experiência religiosa propostas por dois autores de período romântico europeu, a saber; Benjamin Constant de Rebecque e Friedrich Schleiermacher. Ambos os autores tiveram grande importância, ao que se sabe, para a construção do marco teórico do que mais tarde viria a ser a fenomenologia da religião, segundo aponta van der Leew. Em um primeiro momento estudaremos a proposta de Constant de Rebecque, por se tratar de um autor menos conhecido; em seguida resumiremos a teoria de Schleiermacher; por fim, em nossa conclusão, levantaremos os pontos em comum e as diferenças entre as duas teorias propostas" ["This paper aims to compare the epistemology of religious experience offered by two European authors of the Romantic period, namely, Benjamin Constant de Rebecque and Friedrich Schleiermacher. Both authors had little effect, as we know, to build the theoretical framework of what later became the phenomenology of religion, according to van der Leew points. At first we will study the proposal of Constant Rebecque, because it is a lesser known author and then summarize the theory of Schleiermacher and finally, in our conclusion, raise the commonalities and differences between the two theories proposed"]
