Abstract
"Este artículo indaga la inserción en la vida económica y política de la Palestina de finales del.s I en lo que siempre se consideró como temas teológicos y de nítido contenido mesiánico en Mateo. Así, esta teología no sería tan solamente aporte religioso, que revelaría la fe de la comunidad mateana, sino sobre todo, las condiciones reales de vida de esta comunidad y, con esto sus relaciones socioculturales" "This article, seeks to probe into what has always been considered as theological themes, and, has a clear messianic content in Matthew, by involving itself in the political and economic life of Palestine at the end of the First Century. Therefore this theology is not only of a religious nature, that would reveal the faith of Matthew’s community, but, above all, it shons the real conditions of life in this community, along with its social and economic relationships"
