Abstract
"A água é um bem comum e deve ser fornecida de forma justa e igual a todos indistintamente. A água potável é um símbolo de saúde e qualidade de vida, porém esse bem vital encontra-se cada vez mais escasso. Questões como a privação e precariedade em relação à água potável, estão intrinsecamente relacionadas com a saúde pública, e esses problemas envolvem interações entre instituições, Estados, ambientes e coletividades. Este trabalho tem por objetivo abordar os aspectos éticos e bioéticos quanto ao acesso desigual à água potável, através de uma análise crítica dos problemas atuais encontrados no Brasil e em cinco macro-regiões do planeta. Bem como, avaliar os problemas encontrados e perspectivas futuras, a fim de encontrar possíveis soluções da escassez dos recursos hídricos" ["Water is a common good and must be supplied in a just and fair way to all people. Potable water is a symbol of health and quality of life, but this vital good is ever scarcer. Questions as privation and precariousness in relation to potable water are intrinsically related to public health, and these problems imply interactions among institutions, States, environments and collectives. This work aims to approach the ethical and bioethical aspects of the different access conditions of potable water, through a critical analysis of the current problems in Brazil and five macro-regions of the planet. It also aims to evaluate future perspectives and problems identified in order to find possible solutions for scarcity of water resources"]
