Abstract
This article discusses the importance of cosmological balance and environmental sustainability in the process of decision of the mining industry establishment in Rembang. Cosmological balance and environmental sustainability have been linked to a pattern of sustainable natural balance of the survival of mankind. Therefore, the absence of cosmological balance is a form of the absence of a sustainable environmental balance. The damage of cosmology would make the Universe instability which would have implications for the physical and psychological health of human beings. As a representative of God on earth, human beings have an equal responsibility to maintain monotheism meaning that implicates Universe meaning for human. However, keeping the responsibility and trust of Allah is not as easy as turning the palm of the hand, because there has been a collision interest with a system of cooperation among three forces: employers, authorities and bourgeois society. The existence of capital political regulation based on the interests of these three forces is not easy to be canceled, for the reasons of public welfare. In connection with this phenomenon, it needs to do a research that can cover and understand the interest of the capital political regulation based on the interests of the people living in the mining industry who are on the capital political power operating in their environment.
