Abstract
"É um facto iniludível o aumento muito considerável das dimensões da Bioética no Brasil, a nível institucional, social e profissional, e com tal se regozijam os cultores da Bioética em outras latitudes e, certamente, muito em particular em Portugal. Sem repetir a estafada e por vezes simplesmente oportunista imagem da fraterna relação entre os dois Países, seguro é afirmar que proximidades e raízes comuns, para além da língua, nos levam a seguir com interesse, atenção e também com participação afectiva, tudo o que no plano da Bioética vai acontecendo no Brasil. Saudamos, pois, com grande satisfação esta evolução conseguida na última década" ["It is an inescapable fact that a very considerable increase in dimensions of Bioethics in Brazil, institutional, social and professional level, and with such rejoice cultivate the Bioethics in other latitudes and certainly most particularly in Portugal.
