Abstract
Generally, this study is intended to describe the teaching of writing skill in SDIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta. Specially, this study is intended to explain about teacher perception of SDIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta to the KTSP, teaching of writing skill planning in SDIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta, teaching of writing skill implementation in SDIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta, difficulties in teaching of writing skill, and something to do to overcome difficulties in teaching of writing skill. This study is a case study using qualitative. This research was carried out in SDIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta. The data of this research are in from the result of interview, observation, and document analysis. Data validity test uses the method of triangulation, data resource, and review. From the data that are analyzed using interactive analysis technique. The result of this study can be concluded: (1) teacher perception of SDIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta to the KTSP is consider KTSP as multicultural curriculum. (2) the teachers always use written teaching preparation in the form of RPP and syllabus. (3) the teaching process uses printed material; communicative, brainstorming, modeling, and discussion method; media in the form of quiet picture, arrangement, invitation letter, dialogue script, and multimedia; the teaching process use consistent and consequent evaluation with the process and result evaluation. (4) difficulties in teaching of writing skill are concentration less in teaching, media is limited, many corrected material in Indonesia language, and student number is overload. (5) something to do to overcome difficulties in teaching of writing skill are many people used to implementation in teaching of writing skill, teacher and student must keep their health and mind, add Indonesian language teacher, teachers must use written teaching preparation especially media, Indonesian language lesson in the first time in teaching.
