Abstract
This paper discusses the tolerance in Al-Quran perspective. As a result, Islam strongly appreciates pluralism and consider it as sunnatullah. Tolerance in religion is to honor and respect people who have different religion. Islam permits living side by side with different religion communities as long as these communities do not make any harm to Islam. Madinah Charter is one of the best examples that shows how Islam acts toward the tolerance to other religions.
