Abstract
西季威克的伦理学体系中含有行为功利主义与规则功利主义两种倾向，但他并没有固 守一方，相反，他从不同的层次来思考功利主义，力图在二者之间寻求平衡，超越它们的二元 对立。西季威克对功利主义的理解在黑尔的道德思维层次理论中得到了继承与发展。
