Abstract
Self-Education becomes an educational model for the youth to realize the superior and progressive youth. By using descriptive phenomenological approach, this research is expected to provide the authentic, comprehensive and objective field data. The result of this research is the discovery of several self-educational models applied to some Youth organization in Ponorogo in order to realize an independent and progressive youth. This applied-independence in some models of educational activities was able to make the youth manage to find themselves as the independent and progressive youth to be able to compete in the global era.
