Abstract
"Desde una experiencia de Lectura Pastoral de la Biblia en el Perú el presente testimonio pretende mostrar, primero, la necesidad de que en Latinoamérica y el Caribe descubramos al Pablo histórico, quién es notoriamente diferente al Pablo que presenta el libro de los Hechos de los Apóstoles, para apreciar qué puede decir hoy su persona y su mensaje a nuestros pueblos cada día más empobrecidos. Tambien relata cómo ha sido recibido este Pablo histórico en diferentes ambientes, resaltando la inmediata identificación de los más pobres con el Pablo de carne y hueso." "From the perspective of the Lectura Pastoral de la Biblia in Peru, this article seeks to bear witness, first, to the need in Latin America and the Caribbean to discover the historical Paul, who is strikingly different than the Paul who appears in the book of Acts, in order to hear with greater appreciation what he and his message might mean today to our increasingly impoverished peoples. The article also recounts how this historical Paul has been received in different settings, emphasizing the immediate identification of those who are poorest with a Paul of flesh and blood."
