"Vio al pastor en la puerta del templo. Se pasó a un lado a fin de esconderse en la penumbra para que no lo viera. Pero no podía estar tranquilo. Con enojo se apresuró hacia el templo. Entró sin detenerse para saludar al pastor. Corrió adelante hasta el lugar debajo de una ventana donde le gustaba tanto orar. De rodillas, brotó en llanto. Pronto el pastor llego a su lado y juntos imploraron a Dios que hiciera su voluntad. Ambos ya sabían que los indígenas tendrían un misionero que sabría cruzar la frontera cultural para comunicarles en su soledad el amor que nunca hablan experimentado" ["He saw the pastor in the church door.
